Rhode Island Mayoral Academies (RIMA) is building a statewide network of high-performing charter public schools known as "mayoral academies". We achieve this by:

• Partnering with mayors who wish to sponsor new regional charter public schools

• Recruiting and supporting our nation's best nonprofit school operators

• Holding mayoral academies accountable for great results

• Providing facilities solutions and start-up funding

• Advancing a human capital development strategy for our network

• Advocating for policies and practices that enable real education reform
